What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognise your device, remember your preferences and provide certain functions.
We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage technologies. In this Cookie Policy, we refer to all these technologies collectively as “cookies”.
How Do We Use Cookies?
We use cookies to operate our online shop, process orders, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use our online shop. If you have given us your consent, we also use cookies to personalise content and advertising.

Analytics and Tracking Tools
Use of Google Services
We use the technologies described below provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).
Information about your use of our website that is automatically collected by Google technologies is generally transferred to and stored on a server operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
There is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for the USA.
Our cooperation with Google is based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, which are available at https://commission.europa.eu/publications/standard-contractual-clauses-international-transfers_en, as well as an additional risk assessment conducted by us.
If your IP address is collected through Google technologies, it is shortened before being stored on Google’s servers by activating IP anonymisation. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server and shortened there.
Unless otherwise specified for an individual technology, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Article 26 GDPR.
Further information about data processing by Google is available in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics
For the purpose of analysing our website, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data including your IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website. Pseudonymous user profiles are created using this data. Cookies may be used for this purpose.
Your IP address is generally not combined with other data held by Google. Data processing is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement with Google.
To optimise the marketing of our website, we have activated the data-sharing settings for “Google products and services”. This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use it to improve Google’s services.
The disclosure of data to Google through these data-sharing settings is based on an additional agreement between controllers. We have no influence over Google’s subsequent processing of the data.
We also use the Google Analytics extension Google Optimize to create and conduct tests.
For web analytics purposes, the Google Analytics extension Google Signals enables cross-device tracking. If your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google Account and you have activated the “Personalised advertising” setting in your Google Account, Google may create reports about your usage behaviour, particularly cross-device user numbers, even if you change devices.
We do not process personal data in this context. We only receive statistics generated using Google Signals.
For web analytics and advertising purposes, the Google Analytics extension uses the DoubleClick cookie to recognise your browser when you visit other websites. Google uses this information to compile reports on website activity and provide other services relating to website use.
Further information about data processing by Google is available at https://business.safety.google/privacy/.
Google Maps
To display geographical information visually, Google Maps collects data about your use of its map functions, particularly your IP address and location data. This data is transmitted to and subsequently processed by Google. We have no influence over this subsequent data processing.
Use of META Services
META Pixel, Custom Audiences and Conversion
Use of the META Pixel
We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies described below, provided by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”).
The Facebook Pixel automatically collects and stores data including your IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events defined by us, such as visiting a page or signing up for the newsletter. Pseudonymous user profiles are created using this data.
As part of “Advanced Matching”, hashed information that can identify individuals, such as names, email addresses and telephone numbers, is also collected and stored for matching purposes.
When you visit our website, the Facebook Pixel automatically places a cookie. Using a pseudonymous cookie ID, this cookie automatically recognises your browser when you visit other websites.
Facebook may combine this information with other data from your Facebook account and use it to compile reports about website activity and provide other services relating to website use, particularly personalised and audience-based advertising.
Information about your use of our website that is automatically collected by Facebook technologies is generally transferred to and stored on a server operated by Facebook, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA.
There is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for the USA. Where the transfer of data to the USA falls within our responsibility, our cooperation is based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Further information about data processing by Facebook is available in Facebook’s Privacy Policy.
META Analytics
As part of Facebook Analytics, the data collected by the Facebook Pixel about your use of our website is used to generate statistics about visitor activity on our website.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement with Facebook. The analysis helps us optimise the presentation and marketing of our website.
Facebook Ads
We use Facebook Ads to advertise this website on Facebook and other platforms. We define the parameters of each advertising campaign. Facebook is responsible for the precise implementation, particularly the decision about where advertisements are displayed to individual users.
Unless otherwise specified for an individual technology, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Article 26 GDPR. Joint controllership is limited to the collection of data and its transmission to Facebook Ireland. It does not include the subsequent processing of data by Facebook Ireland.
Using statistics about visitor activity on our website generated by the Facebook Pixel, we operate audience-based advertising through Facebook Custom Audiences by defining the characteristics of the respective target group.
For the Advanced Matching used to determine the relevant target group, Facebook acts as our data processor.
Using the pseudonymous cookie ID placed by the Facebook Pixel and the data collected about your use of our website, we conduct personalised advertising through Facebook Pixel Remarketing.
Through Facebook Pixel Conversions, we measure your subsequent usage behaviour for web analytics and event-tracking purposes after you access our website through a Facebook Ads advertisement. Data processing is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement with Facebook.
These service providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Legal Basis
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to provide our online shop and the services expressly requested by you without obtaining your consent, where permitted by law.
We use analytics, personalisation and marketing cookies only after receiving your consent. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, the subsequent processing of personal data is based on your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
When you first visit our online shop, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner. You can also select individual cookie categories.
You can review or change your preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of our website.
Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of our online shop from functioning properly.
